What is your favorite part about being in the classroom?

My favorite part about being in the classroom is to be able to teach students new skills and to help them be independent learners. Also, I try to differentiate the learning, so all students are able to use the materials.

If you could have dinner with one person, who would it be and why?

I would have dinner with my father. He passed sixteen years ago. He was a very wise and positive man. He gave me a good history and background of everything he talked about. He was an avid reader and loved to watch war movies.

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

It would be salad. I love salad. Whenever food is around, I go to the salad first. I love the crunch, the texture and water that's in the vegetables.

What is your favorite book and why?

I like detective mysteries. "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee is one of my favorites.

Who is your favorite author?

Agatha Christie, who was famous for her fictional detective stories

What is the best piece of advice you’ve received or a favorite quote that keeps you motivated?

'Complete everything you start', that's from my mom - 'Don't be a follower, be a leader' from my Dad. My dad did not want us to follow bad company. The wisdom of my parents has helped me throughout life.
