JET Eligibility 

To be eligible for JET, you must be a paraprofessional employed in a Massachusetts public school or public charter school who aspires to be a teahcer, and not yet hold a bachelor's degree. 

Eligibility requirements:

  • Seeking a bachelor's degree 

    • You are not eligible if you have a bachelor’s degree from another country.

    • Holding an associate’s degree is fine.

  • Employed as a paraprofessional in a Massachusetts public school, public charter school, or public early learning centers overseen by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC).

  • Aspiring to be a licensed, lead teacher in the state of Massachusetts.
