JET awarded competitive Educator Diversity Grant by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE)

Journey into Education & Teaching (JET) is proud to announce that we have just been awarded an Educator Diversity Grant from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). 

The funding supports two new initiatives: the expansion of JET mentoring services for paraprofessionals in new urban public-school districts; and enhanced professional development in cultural proficiency for JET scholars and mentors. 

JET is especially pleased to be partnering with the New Teacher Center (NTC), a nationally recognized leader in equity-focused educator development and effectiveness. NTC will provide professional learning in cultural proficiency for JET mentors and scholars through the guided online Direct-to-Educator experiential modules and individual coaching support for every scholar.
